UnlockInn Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026 · Applicable to all UnlockInn subscriptions
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using UnlockInn (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a hotel, resort, company, or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.
2. SaaS Subscription & Billing
- Free Tier: Single-property boutique hotels up to 10 rooms can utilize the UnlockInn Starter plan free of charge with core front desk and calendar tools.
- Paid Subscriptions: Growth and Scale plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via credit card (Stripe) or supported digital wallets. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the billing cycle renewal date.
- Taxes & Invoices: Applicable local sales tax or VAT is itemized on each automated electronic receipt.
3. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Uptime
We understand that front desk operations and guest check-ins cannot afford downtime:
Continuous monitoring across multi-region edge nodes and cloud databases.
Scheduled database upgrades are broadcast with minimum 48-hour advance notice.
4. Customer Data Ownership & Multi-Tenancy
You own all rights, title, and interest in your Property Data, including your guest records, room rates, booking history, and staff logs. UnlockInn will never sell, rent, or monetize your property or guest data.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and ensuring your staff members use separate logins with appropriate role permissions.
5. Acceptable Use & Platform Boundaries
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from UnlockInn proprietary systems.
- Send unsolicited automated spam SMS or WhatsApp messages to individuals who have not booked or consented to communicate with your property.
- Attempt unauthorized penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or denial-of-service against UnlockInn infrastructure without prior written authorization.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnlockInn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or revenues arising from service interruptions, hardware failures on the hotel premises, or third-party payment gateway outages.
